Susan Jones

Owner/Senior Conservator

Led by her desire to begin a career as an artist, Susan Jones moved from Virginia to Atlanta, where she received her art degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta.  Upon graduation she remained in Georgia and began her apprenticeship with an Atlanta area art conservation studio, where she quickly excelled in the art of oil painting conservation.  During that time, she met her husband, who was a master craftsman in the art of wood carving and gilding.  In 1991 Susan and her husband opened Master Framing and Conservation Studio, offering oil painting and period frame restoration to clients, both locally and nationally, for over 30 years.
